About Roax Broker Group

ROAX Broker Group is one of Port Elizabeth’s newest Short Term Insurance brokerages on the scene, but with Rolene Flack and Jackie Gray at the helm, they have in excess of 30 years combined experience in the industry.

After the tragic loss of Colin Heydenrych, former boss of Rolene, she bought the client book and came together in partnership with Jackie from JCG Broker who had been an independent broker for 20 years.  These ladies, each armed with their own unique set of expertise, will endeavour to meet every need of ,and bend over backwards for, their clients.

They moved into new offices in November 2013 in 4th Avenue, Newton Park and officially started trading as ROAX from 01 March 2014.  This brought with it more opportunities to expand and provide their clients with more choice of products and less restrictions on possibilities.

They pride themselves on building relationships with their clients as well as their high level of service and definitely live up to the motto of the company :  ROAX – Where You Count !

Jackie Gray

Director & Broker

I started in Short Term insurance in 1986 with the then Mutual and Federal. I have been an Independent broker since 1993. Rolene and I started ROAX Broker Group with our combined books of business and do believe my clients have benefited from this relationship.
I am currently serving on the Financial Intermediary Association Education Committee (FIA) as well as being a Counsel Member of the Insurance Institute of the Eastern Cape (IIEC)
I am passionate about the industry that I am in and believe in giving back to the industry. I love what I do and love our clients just as much.

Roléne Flack

Director & Broker

I started in the Life Industry in 1990 with Old Mutual.
I left in 1999 and then entered the broker market where I did Life and Short Term insurance.
In 2003 I continued in Short Term insurance together with Colin Heydenrych and STB and I have been a broker ever since.
Jackie and I formed ROAX Broker Group after Colin passed away in 2013.
I am all about helping people, keeping clients satisfied and giving the best I can as fast as I can.

Lizanne Kilian

Senior / Underwriting and claims

Insurance has been apart of my life for more than 8 years now… I believe it was my true calling. I started behind the scenes dealing with queries, claims and underwriting and soon realized this is my passion. Roax is not just a company but we have become like family, trusting and supporting each other and making our clients our top priority. I love working with people and making life better for them by ensuring that they are taken care of with all their assets. Charity is also a great importance to me as I always believe in giving back. What we sow, we reap – (Gal 6:7)

I am the youngest of the team and finding my feet in the industry.
I am by nature a very protective and caring person and like being helpful in some way to others who can genuinely benefit from my help.
I strive for success, dedication and kindness. I am an approachable person and always have a smile on my face.

Jackie van Rensburg

I have been in the industry since 1984
I worked in various positions, companies and places over the years.
In 1996 I became an independent broker and joined ROAX Broker Group in Sept 2018.
I love the personal relationships formed with my clients and aim to be the best at what I do.
